In collaboration with Inked In Gray Press, the Circle is working on a cozy themed anthology centering the voices of women of color to combat all of the negativity going on in the world. What is an anthology? Well, it is a collection of short stories and/or short form work from a variety of authors, and we would love to spread the word.
The theme of the anthology is affection and we are giving you members of the Circle and are closest allies a tip! We aren’t necessarily talking about romantic affection, in fact, we’re keeping this thing PG-13 at most! If you need a bigger hint, think back to some of your favorite Studio Ghibli films, the beautiful worlds and colors, the longing it inspired in you, the sense of wonder. That is what we are seeking in this anthology.
Note: all submissions ought to be speculative in some manner, so no memoir or poetry please. And we encourage you to submit, even if you never have before! Who knows, this may be your first publication.
