Sometimes, the hardest part of being a writer is getting your ideas on paper. That is why having a writing group is so important: if someone holds you accountable for your writing, you are more likely to write. It doesn’t have to be perfect, it doesn’t even have to be good but what’s most important is putting pen to paper (or finger to keyboard).
Writing groups are collections of people who hold each other accountable for their writing. In a writing group you can bounce ideas of each other, beta read each others work and more. Due to COVID-19, many in-person writing groups have not been able to meet but there is always a way!
